We're at the End

 When you think about Jesus returning does it excite you or scare you? When someone mentions Bible prophecy do you engage in the conversation or do you run away from it? Did you know that 98% of pastors will not preach on Revelation or end time events? Bible prophecy is 30% of the Bible and given to us by God for the means of preparing us not to scare us. Preparing us as in keeping us centered on His word and living a life for Him each and every single day. He wants us to take the Bible as a complete whole, not to just omit the parts we think are too scary and not worth learning about. He gives us the road map to Him and that includes giving us details on the signs of His coming. We just have to take the time to read them, study them, take them to heart, and above all keep our heads looking up. 

We are so close to seeing God's glorious power, the birth pains are getting closer and closer together each day that passes, one day soon we are going to see the sky open wide and those who are in a close relationship with Jesus Christ are going to hear His angel's trumpets and hear Him call us to meet Him in the air. What are the birth pains happening everyday? 

• Wars and rumor of wars. We are seeing such an increase in this world wide. Right now we have middle east war where Israel is fighting back against Hamas and Hezbollah, soon it will involve even more countries as each one turns their back on Israel and starts to attack them, as it is Israel doesn't have too many alias. All of this conflict is just setting the stage for the Gog/Magog war. There is so much unrest in the middle east and each day it gets worse. Countries are coming against Israel in a way that is Biblical. As Christians we are to stand with Israel and pray for them. They have a right to defend themselves. Every day there is a new report about the war, just today countries came together to vote on a ceasefire, it did not go their way, but someday it will and I pray that God will intervene because He will protect Israel against her enemies. One day and I think soon a "peacekeeper" will emerge and step onto the scene with a plan to bring peace to the middle east. Don't be deceived by him, after his proposed peace takes place it will usher in the seven year tribulation and after three and a half years he will back track on his peace treaty and it will start the three and a half years of hell on earth and the false sense of peace will be no more. That is until Jesus Christ returns and defeats satan and true peace will reign. 

• False Prophets. We have had people in the past proclaim to be Jesus and we will continue to have people claiming to be Him. Do not be deceived and fall victim to these people. Keep looking for the truth in the Bible, everything you need to tell if someone you're talking to is giving you correct information regarding His ways is to read for yourself in the Bible. Put everything under scrutiny and compare it to what is written in the Bible. There are so many so called churches that are not teaching sound Biblical doctrine. Make sure that the church you are attending is built on Jesus's solid foundation and the word of God. Some of these "mega churches" are questionable. A pastor must preach His word accordingly and in full. We are to preach the gospel according to God's words not what society wants to hear. His words are not meant to be twisted to fit into society's ways, which is how a lot of churches are preaching today.

• Increased technology and knowledge. Look at how much AI has progressed not just over the past couple of years but the past couple of months. Does not mean that's a good thing. AI is going to be a tool that the antichrist and his false prophet take advantage of when they come into power, if AI can already deceive people, imagine how many more people the antichrist and his right hand man will be able to deceive by using it. AI technology is not something to take lightly or use lightly. Be aware of everything, question everything, and put on the whole armor of God so you will not be deceived. 

• Weather/Earthquakes/Volcanic Disruptions. Seems like you can't go a week without reading about a high magnitude earthquake somewhere, or a volcano erupting, these things have increased just in the past five years. Not just in quantity, but size, earthquakes are now in the 7.0 range where just a few short years ago they were all in the 5 or 6 range. Weather patterns have seem to go haywire, we have snow in places that have never seen snow, while the places that usual see snow have seen very little. Storms have increased and intensified to where tsunami's have not only increased in size but numbers. We have more tsunami's happening now then we did even ten years ago. Flooding has increased because of the change in the amount of rain we have seen, lighting has even changed, there's no denying things are different now. You can feel the change in the atmosphere. 

• Germs. Or if you want to use a Biblical term, plagues/diseases, we have seen such a drastic change in germs and sicknesses. Not just with covid. Colds are worse, the flu is worse, just bacteria in general has gotten worse. Diseases are mutating quicker than what medicine can keep up with. We didn't have to worry about some diseases twenty or thirty years ago the way we worry about them now. Plagues are going to play a big part in end time events, we're just seeing the tip of the iceberg, it's just the start but things are ramping up to where it will get much worse.

• Famine. We are already seeing famine with the food supplies cut short over the past 4 years. Store shelves have been bare of certain necessities for awhile. Over seas in the remote villages people are dying everyday from famine. It will only get worse and will see an overwhelming famine during the seven year tribulation and it will destroy millions of lives. It will be so severe that it will take a days wage to buy enough food for one person let alone a family. Will it be that only the wealthy will be able to eat and have comfort during this time and won't feel the affects until later? Only time will tell. 

When you look at what is happening in the world today there is literally no question that we are the generation to see His return. All of the prophecies are meant for one generation and we are that generation. The clock started the second that Israel became a nation again on May 14th 1948. How long is a generation? We don't really know the exact number, some have said 80 years, some have said 120 years, the fact is only God knows how long He wants a generation to be, and only He knows the date or the hour of Jesus's coming. If we go with the 80 years answer then we are at the end of it with 76 years ago Israel became a nation. At any moment the rapture could occur. 

How should we go about our lives knowing that we're at the end of the end times? Same as we do every day before, showing His love to others, sowing the fruits of the spirits, witnessing to others the gospel so they too will know Him. We have to stand firm in His word against a world that is full of hate and bitterness. If we stay in His word nothing can come against us. Live a life that is pleasing to Him, sinning less and having a heavenly mind instead of an earthly one. Everything here is fleeting and worthless compared to His grace and mercy and salvation. Take stands that are going to make you unpopular. Do God's work here on earth for Him and let go of caring if you're voted most popular. You are loved by Christ. Show that love to others. 

If you don't know Him yet or haven't received His free gift of salvation I ask you to come to Him now. Say this prayer right now so when the rapture does happen you won't be left behind. 

Dear Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner, I know that You died on the cross for me and arose again three days later, I pray that You come into my life and make me new, I am truly sorry for the sin in my life and ask You to forgive me. I pray for the Holy Spirit to come into my heart and to guide me the rest of my days. I believe in Your son Jesus and I thank You for the wonderful gift of salvation. I ask for wisdom and understanding of Your word. Please be with me Lord, keep my heart and mind clean and open to You. I thank You for hearing this prayer. I love You with all my heart. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.

How do you get to Heaven? Not by your works or sacrifices but by the blood of Jesus Christ. Be saved! Believe in Him! 

Jesus died on the cross for me, He died on the cross for you, He died on the cross for every single person that has ever been born, regardless of race or ethnicity. It doesn't matter what you have done in your life up until this point He will forgive you and give you peace, all you have to give Him in return is repentance, your heart, and a life that is worthy of Him. Let the past go and forgive those who have hurt you and know a peace like you've never felt before. Everything can be made new in Him. Once you're a new person you won't ever want to go back to the old you, it will be full steam ahead to receiving glory in Heaven someday. What a day that will be. Jesus tells us we will have tribulation here on earth but He says "be of good cheer I have overcome the world." Just remember that you have a direct line to Him each and every day, use your Heaven Line to come to Him and start the greatest relationship you will ever have today.
