Faith and Salvation
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Now brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved. If you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
We are living in a time where Jesus could come back at any second. There’s an urgency like never before to bring others to Him. We should be doing our first works now which means loving Him, sharing His word, and following the path He wants us to take in our lives. Christ died for our sins and we are covered by His blood as long as we ask for redemption and people need to know that before it’s too late. There’s a time coming to this world that will be horrific and the people left behind will have to deal with things we can’t even imagine. God gives us prophecy to prepare us, not to scare us, but to get us ready now and to get others ready as well. We need to wake up and listen, have ears that hear and hearts that receive His word. Lukewarm Christianity isn’t going to cut it anymore, God hates lukewarm, He wants us on fire for Him. He wants our faith and belief in Him to be so strong that everyone can see Him through the way we live our lives. We need to hold fast to our faith and tell others now.
One thing to remember you always have a direct line to heaven yourself to talk to Jesus anytime.
